This brief is going to based around old and new techniques of photography and will require a lot of imagination to it to be different from the rest of the class. I was originally going to do a double exposure but i thought it would be to similar to other projects we have done so I decided to do a diptych.
I looked a lot more into Jennifer Loebers work, she did diptychs very close to home after her mother past away, they were photographs of her mum when she was younger and she also showed next to it a significant object that reminded her of her mum or was actually visible next to the photograph.
My Gran pasted away when I was very young but I knew that I owned stuff that was either important to her or she made. I also knew that I had a good selection of photographs that I could use that would be great to make a diptych with.
I also looked at many other photography styles and photographers that would work with what I was trying to achieve, that is all in my introduction.
