Introduction

This brief is going to based around old and new techniques of photography and will require a lot of imagination to it to be different from the rest of the class.
I could use a polaroid to get an old look and then edit on photoshop, I could recreate a photographers work like Matt Wisniewski or Jennifer Loeber.

Matt Wisniewski

Wisniewski create digital images that mix together fashion photography and nature and is able to create quite surreal images. He overlays the portraits with natural photographs, some of them he doesn't even know who's the images belong to. He says that he uses photoshop a lot more because it is more forgiving and you are able to change and undo mistakes.

Jennifer Loeber

Loeber did a collection of work called 'Left Behind' this was when her mother had passed away and she was grieving. She had old photographs of her mother and they ended up making her more sad, so she set aside time to find a way to interact with the photographs. She did this by finding object that her mother may have used in the photograph or you were able to see. I really like this idea because you are able to find an object that was important to the image and have it close and relate it to happy memory.

David Samuel Stern

Stern was able to take two photographs and weave them together  that show direct portraits while making it abstract. It creates a good way to hide but still have your face shown, woven photography is an art form in its own.
